"Stock photos" of Mattel's Bratz have been found! Lookin' Bratz did a great post on this! I'm going to basically reiterate what he wrote.
So for those who don't know, with the lawsuit between MGA Entertainment and Mattel in the 2000s, on December 8, 2008, MGA was ordered by a federal judge to recall all Bratz products and destroy all materials used to create the dolls. Mattel would take ownership of the brand.
While MGA kept their Bratz on shelves till Fall 2009, Mattel began work on their version of Bratz set to debut around 2010. Instead, MGA retained ownership of the brand and Mattel's Bratz never saw the light of day. In 2011, factory samples of Bratz-like heads were found on eBay and were being sold from Ch*na. Many theorized that these were meant to be Mattel's Bratz, while others have suspected they were part of a canceled My Scene reboot.
Garrett Sander, who created Monster High, confirmed in May 2020 that the heads were meant for Mattel's Bratz:

If you look closely at where it says "brand logo location" on the doll boxes, you will see a glimpse of what would have been the updated Bratz logo. It was likely blurred out in these photos for legal reasons.

Also, it should be noted that Jade's name was likely kept because she is the only Bratz character to keep her original concept name and the lawsuit only granted Mattel the right to the original concepts; the name Nia is reused from My Scene. However, on the back of one of the boxes, Jade's name is Melody instead.
Some people such as Dom have been fortunate enough to get some of these factory sample heads, bodies, and shoes (I have a picture of the shoes somewhere, I'll have to find it when I get the chance). However, nobody has claimed to own the boxed samples.
